Whenever you watch the news lately, antioxidants have made the frontlines and headlines. They are defined as black box items. There are radicals that have been discovered and have been doing harmful things to the human body. Then there are these that people call antioxidants as well. Antioxidants are toxins that can be taken in with the food that everybody loves to eat.
For man to be able to understand what antioxidants are, they have to go into the scientific world called Chemistry. In chemistry, they will know everything that they want to know about antioxidants.
First is that people must educate themselves on what radicals are. A radical is a summation of the metabolisms of cells in a human body. Upon burning oxygen, the body produces what are called free radicals. The thing that makes these free radicals very harmful to the body of a human being is that they inflict harm by taking away the electrons of bodily molecules. That is it. This is the kind of harm that contributes to a human beings’ aging problems and as well as health complications.
Listed here are some of the more dangerous and harmful effects have with what people call free radicals. Cataracts, Alzheimers Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Arthritis, Auto-Immune Diseases, Different types of Cancer Diseases and the most common of all – Aging. Antioxidants can reverse all these.
Then here are the numbers. There are about ten-thousand free radicals that attack the human body on a daily basis. The various known causes for these free radicals to propagate with. First there is smoking, second is the amount of sunlight, third is the intake of food that has a high fat content, fourth is the pollution that surrounds people and fifth is not surprisingly – the lack of exercise.
