I have this friend Alice; she was one of my oldest friends. We practically grew up together because we have been next door neighbors since we were in diapers. Our parents were also good friends so our families spent a lot of bonding time together.
I have always been fond of Alice; she was simple, kind-hearted and down to earth. She was one of those “do-gooder” types so she was always out trying to save the dolphins, the rainforest, Mother Nature, whatever. For as long as there was a worthy cause to fight for you could expect Alice to be part of it; at least before her boyfriend, Emmet, dumped her for a curvy, gorgeous cheerleader.
So now Alice is just concerned about trying to improve herself physically, she is particularly interested in anything that will result to weight loss without sacrificing her number one craving—chocolates. Since this is something she really couldn’t give up, she just shifted to eating dark chocolates because of its many benefits. She mentioned a few to me, like how good it was for the heart, how it was supposed to keep you relaxed, how it managed the blood pressure and all that; but I countered that it didn’t mean that just because it was healthy she can already eat a pound of dark chocolate a day and expect not to gain weight. I reminded her that she still needed to balance what she eats if she really wanted obvious weight loss; she reluctantly agreed with me.
After a few days I saw Alice again and this time she was very excited because she discovered healthy chocolate products that were filled with the antioxidant power of dark chocolate without the fat, preservatives, and high sugar content found in other chocolates. She asked me to try it and I was surprised that it tasted so good. So now she was determined more than ever to improve her physical appearance and get Emmet as she can already do it without letting go of her precious chocolates.
Diana McCalla, author of this article is also interested in healthy chocolate and recommends you to please check out natural cocoa butter if you liked reading this information.
