My aunt has diabetes since she was a child. It wasn’t a surprise considering that she has a sweet tooth, in fact even now she still crave, and when we are not around still eats, sweet goodies especially chocolate. The entire family is really concerned about her health because her doctor said that her condition is not improving because apart from the medication, my aunt seems to have no intention of changing her lifestyle. The most frustrating part actually is trying to make my aunt listen that we are really worried and that we just want her to be well, especially now that her birthday is fast approaching and she is not getting any younger.
Since my aunt doesn’t have any children of her own, me and my siblings practically grew up in her house. I remember her begging my parents to let me sleep in her house during weekends. She is like a second mother to me that is why I wanted to help her out; but how? I started with the facts, my aunt has diabetes and she loves chocolates so much that she can’t afford to give it up even though it was making her much sicker. So I browsed the internet and I stumbled upon this website talking about healthy chocolate, this caught my attention. Apparently there are Xocai healthy chocolate products available that contain all natural, unprocessed cold pressed chocolate which means that being unprocessed all of its antioxidant and nutritional value remain intact. What is more exciting is the fact that this healthy chocolate products provide all the antioxidant power of dark chocolate without the fat, preservatives, fillers, and high sugar common with ordinary chocolate. Moreover, the manufacturers use low glycemic sweeteners in their products which make it “diabetic-friendly.”
I placed an order right away so that I will have the perfect gift for my chocolate-lover aunt’s 55th birthday. I could imagine her smile and excitement now.
Diana McCalla, author of this article is also interested in healthy chocolate and recommends you to please check out natural cocoa butter if you liked reading this information.
