I met my boyfriend, Edward, in a public relations conference in New York four months ago. There were a lot of participants in that conference but Edward was the only one I decided to hang out with. We literally bumped into each other when we were both running late on the first day of the conference and we had such a laugh about it that we were inseparable until the end of the event. The entire time we chatted like we have known each other for years instead of just a couple of days. We sat in the same table in the conference, went out each night for dinner and ate bunch of desserts made of dark chocolate. I am health conscious who loves dessert and based on my personal research I am aware of the various benefits one can derive from eating this type of chocolate. For one, it is rich in antioxidants that protect the body from aging caused by free radicals; it also helps relax blood pressure similar to red wine; and more importantly it is good for the heart. As a matter of fact I even read that eating a small piece of it everyday can help keep our heart and cardiovascular system in good running condition so to speak. I shared this with Edward and I was so thrilled that he knew exactly what I was talking about and that he was also a dark chocolate addict; his only vice he said.
I really think that I have found “the one” in Edward, so you could just imagined how sad I was when we parted. When I went back, I missed him everyday so imagine my surprise when I got a surprise visit from him after just a couple of weeks. I was bursting with happiness when he handed me my chocolate because I knew he had taken my heart.
